Portage is family-like atmosphere that offers a range of treatment programs to individuals with drug abuse problems. At Portage they strive to help drug addicts become involved in society again by giving them the means and support systems to continue on in life drug free. The process is demanding but rewarding.

Our office is open weekdays from 8:00am – 3:30pm. Our open door policy enables parents to stop in and pick up drug/alcohol/gambling information at their convenience. The opportunity for parents of troubled youth to share their fears and/or tears with a trained volunteer or staff member is a comfort to many.
Our resource library contains books, videos, and audio tapes. Topics include Drugs and Their Effects, Self Help, Effective Parenting, and Prevention of Drug Use.
We provide speakers for schools, youth groups, parenting groups, etc. Presentations are tailored to meet the needs of your group. Suggested topics include: Peer Pressure Reversal Skills, How to Talk to your Children About Drugs, Drug Addiction and Recovery.
Workshops are held on a regular basis for parents of troubled youth. Topics range from self care to how to communicate with your youth.
